Hi everybody,
After much polling and running around, video chat is up and running!
There's 4 basic, but very important things everyone needs to know about it:
1. To publish your video to the entire room, click the button on top of the chat window that has a little camera
2. You know who is seeing your video in open chat because a little "eye" icon appears in front of the name of the person who's watching. To stop that person from viewing your video, click the eye icon
3. If someone decides to publish their video to the open chat, you'll see a camera icon beside their name. Click it to view it.
4. Video chat can be done in private too. Open the PM window and publish your video (there's a button inside the PM window).
Now for the less relevant things...
- You can resize the video windows to your heart's content, as long as they fit the chat window
- If you move your mouse pointer inside a video window (be it yours or someone else's), you can selectively disable/enable video and audio feeds
- By default, private video windows are attached to PM windows. If you move the PM window, they all move together. You can move the video windows independently.
With the additional windows, you may want to bookmark http://host.123flashchat.com/ics. It will open a full size chat window

P.S.: Just a quick reminder that nobody is forced to show video or see video. You have control over everything and seeing or showing is entirely your choice! |

Was just in chat....lot's of fun, and the sound is cool. Can hardly wait for unsolicited PM's.....cocks blowing up in your face and all the moaning that goes along with it! lol
By the way maxpower, where can I get one of those...um...flashlights? (wink wink). And stop-me, nice sofa, and your elbow is such a turn on! lol |

perhaps stop me and i have similar computer issues... There dont seem to BE any little eye icon thingie for to control cam access, ( not a big deal for the exhibitionists among us)
On the lighter side, i think the new cam feature is GREAT and adds another dimension to chat! No end of potential for visual gags and pervier activities. Good job xp, now when is MISSUS XP gonna be on cam? need date and time of show and a code for tivo to pick it up... |

Sorry folks, my bad... the eye icon will appear in a future version of the chat which should be up in 2-3 months. Until then, we have no way of knowing who's watching the public video.
As for the chances of having ladyXP putting on a show, hmmm... Not so sure about that.  |

I understand the Chat Room was receiving an "UpGrade" but at 5:00pm I'm still getting an "Unknown Error" while trying to "log on". If the Chatroom is up and running.. perhaps someone needs to make note of this problem. If not.. it's just me  |

Not just you my friend, I've been champing at the bit all day to get my fix of my pals here. Hope whatever issues are causing the delay are rectified soon.
